Spiral auger conveyor is divided in two types rigid screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor.
Spiral auger conveyor is suitable for non-sticky powder and small particle material such as cement,fly ash,lime. etc.
Application scope of screw conveyor
1. The screw conveyor uses the screw rotation to push the material forward. Since the effective circulation section of the material in the machine tank is small, it is not suitable to transport bulk materials. It is suitable for conveying various powder, granular and small block materials, such as pulverized coal cement, slag, etc.
2. It is not suitable to convey materials that are perishable, viscous, and easy to agglomerate, because such materials will stick to the screw during transportation, causing material accumulation and making the screw machine unable to work.
3. It is mostly used in occasions where the conveying volume is low or medium, and the conveying length is not large.
4. It can be used for horizontal or inclined (less than 20 degrees) one-way conveying
5. The temperature of the working environment should be within the range of -20ºC~+50ºC, and the temperature of the conveyed material should be lower than +200ºC.
